O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
O kom, laat ons tot die HERE sing: laat ons ‚'n vrolike geraas maak tot die rots van ons heil.
2
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
Laat ons voor sy teenwoordigheid kom met danksegging, en ‚'n vrolike geraas tot Hom maak met psalms.
3
For the LORD [is] a great God, and a great King above all gods.
Want die HERE is ‚'n groot God, en ‚'n groot Koning bo al die gode.
4
In his hand [are] the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills [is] his also.
In sy hand is die diep plekke van die aarde: die sterkte van die heuwels is ook syne.
5
The sea [is] his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry [land].
Die see is syne, en Hy het dit gemaak: en sy hande het die droë land geformeer.

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
O kom, laat ons aanbid en neerbuig: laat ons voor die HERE onse Maker kniel.
7
For he [is] our God; and we [are] the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
Want Hy is onse God; en ons is die volk van sy weiveld, en die skape van sy hand. Vandag as julle sy stem wil hoor,
8
Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, [and] as [in] the day of temptation in the wilderness:
Verhard nie julle hart nie, soos in die terging, en soos in die dag van beproewing in die wildernis:
9
When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
Toe julle vaders My beproef het, My getoets het, en my werk gesien het.
10
Forty years long was I grieved with [this] generation, and said, It [is] a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
Veertig jaar lank was Ek gegrief met hierdie geslag, en het gesê, Dit is ’n volk wat in hulle hart dwaal, en hulle het my weë nie geken nie:
11
Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
Aan wie Ek in my toorn gesweer het dat hulle nie in my rus sou ingaan nie.
