Preserve my soul; for I [am] holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
Bewaar my siel; want ek is heilig: o U my God, red u dienaar wat op U vertrou.

Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.
Wees my genadig, o Here: want ek roep daagliks tot U.
4
Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
Verbly die siel van u dienaar: want tot U, o Here, hef ek my siel op.
5
For thou, Lord, [art] good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Want U, Here, is goed, en gereed om te vergewe; en oorvloedig in barmhartigheid vir almal wat U aanroep.
6
Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.
Gee oor, o HERE, tot my gebed; en let op die stem van my smekinge.
7
In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.
In die dag van my benoudheid sal ek U aanroep: want U sal my antwoord.

Among the gods [there is] none like unto thee, O Lord; neither [are there any works] like unto thy works.
Onder die gode is daar niemand soos U, o Here nie; en daar is geen werke soos u werke nie.
9
All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
Al die nasies wat U gemaak het, sal kom en voor U aanbid, o Here; en sal u Naam verheerlik.
10
For thou [art] great, and doest wondrous things: thou [art] God alone.
Want U is groot, en doen wonderlike dinge: U is God alleen.
11
Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
Leer my u weg, o HERE; ek sal in u waarheid wandel: verenig my hart om u Naam te vrees.
12
I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
Ek sal U prys, o Here my God, met my hele hart: en ek sal u Naam vir ewig verheerlik.
13
For great [is] thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.
Want groot is u barmhartigheid teenoor my: en U het my siel van die laagste doderyk verlos.
14
O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent [men] have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.
O God, die trotses het teen my opgestaan, en die vergaderinge van geweldadige manne het my siel gesoek; en het U nie voor hulle gestel nie.
15
But thou, O Lord, [art] a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
Maar U, o Here, is ‚'n God vol medelye, en genadig, lankmoedig, en oorvloedig in barmhartigheid en waarheid.
16
O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.
O keer tot my, en wees my genadig; gee u sterkte aan u dienaar, en red die seun van u diensmaagd.
17
Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see [it], and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.
Toon my ’n teken tot die goeie; dat dié wat my haat, dit mag sien, en beskaamd word: omdat U, HERE, my gehelp en getroos het.
