Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
Laat hulle beskaamd en tot verwarring gebring word wat my siel soek: laat hulle agteruit gedryf word, en tot skande gebring word, wat behae het in my leed.

Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
Laat hulle teruggekeer word as ’n beloning van hulle skaamte wat sê, Aha, aha.

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
Laat almal wat U soek, juig en vrolik wees in U: en laat dié wat u heil liefhet, voortdurend sê, Laat God verheerlik word.

But I [am] poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou [art] my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
Maar ek is arm en behoeftig: haastig tot my, o God: U is my hulp en my verlosser; o HERE, maak geen vertraging nie.
