For the LORD most high [is] terrible; [he is] a great King over all the earth.
Want die HERE Allerhoogste is vreeslik; Hy is ‚'n groot Koning oor die hele aarde.

He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
Hy sal die volk onder ons onderwerp, en die nasies onder ons voete.
4
He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
Hy sal ons erfenis vir ons kies, die uitnemendheid van Jakob wat Hy liefgehad het. Sela.

God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
God is opgegaan met ‚'n geskreeu, die HERE met die geluid van ‚'n trompet.

Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
Sing lof tot God, sing lof: sing lof tot ons Koning, sing lof.

For God [is] the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
Want God is die Koning van die hele aarde: sing julle lof met verstand.
8
God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
God regeer oor die heidene: God sit op die troon van sy heiligheid.
9
The princes of the people are gathered together, [even] the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth [belong] unto God: he is greatly exalted.
Die vorstes van die volk is bymekaargekom, selfs die volk van die God van Abraham: want die skilde van die aarde behoort aan God: Hy is grootliks verhef.
