Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
Ons voete sal binne jou poorte staan, o Jérusalem.

Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
Jérusalem is gebou as ’n stad wat saamgebind is:

Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
Waarheen die stamme opgaan, die stamme van die HERE, tot die getuienis van Israel, om die Naam van die HERE te dank.

For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
Want daar is die trone vir oordeel gestel, die trone van die huis van Dawid.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
Bid vir die vrede van Jérusalem: hulle sal voorspoedig wees wat jou liefhet.

Peace be within thy walls, [and] prosperity within thy palaces.
Vrede wees binne jou mure, en voorspoed binne jou paleise.

For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace [be] within thee.
Om my broers en metgeselle se ontwil sal ek nou sê, Vrede wees binne jou.

Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
Om die huis van die HERE onse God se ontwil sal ek jou goed soek.
