1
And if his oblation [be] a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer [it] of the herd; whether [it be] a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.
En as sy offer ‚'n dankoffer is, as hy dit van die beeste offer, of dit ‚'n mannetjie of ‚'n wyfie is, moet hy dit sonder gebrek voor die HERE offer.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it [at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
En hy moet sy hand op die kop van sy offer lê, en dit slag by die deur van die tabernakel van die gemeente: en Aäron se seuns, die priesters, moet die bloed rondom op die altaar sprinkel.

And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that [is] upon the inwards,
En hy moet van die dankoffer ‚'n vuuroffer aan die HERE offer; die vet wat die binnegoed bedek, en al die vet wat aan die binnegoed is,

And the two kidneys, and the fat that [is] on them, which [is] by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.
En die twee niere, en die vet wat aan hulle is, wat by die lendene is, en die vel oor die lewer, met die niere, moet hy verwyder.
5
And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which [is] upon the wood that [is] on the fire: [it is] an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
En Aäron se seuns moet dit op die altaar aan die brand steek op die brandoffer, wat op die hout is wat op die vuur is: dit is ’n vuuroffer van soete geur aan die HERE.

And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD [be] of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.
En as sy offer tot ‚'n dankoffer aan die HERE van die kleinvee is, mannetjie of wyfie, moet hy dit sonder gebrek offer.
7
If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the LORD.
As hy ‚'n lam tot sy offer bring, dan moet hy dit voor die HERE bring.
8
And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.
En hy moet sy hand op die kop van sy offer lê, en dit slag voor die tabernakel van die gemeente: en Aäron se seuns moet die bloed daarvan rondom op die altaar sprinkel.

And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, [and] the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that [is] upon the inwards,
En hy moet van die dankoffer ‚'n vuuroffer aan die HERE offer; die vet daarvan, en die hele stuit, moet hy naby die ruggegraat afneem; en die vet wat die binnegoed bedek, en al die vet wat aan die binnegoed is,

And the priest shall burn it upon the altar: [it is] the food of the offering made by fire unto the LORD.
En die priester moet dit op die altaar aan die brand steek: dit is die voedsel van die vuuroffer aan die HERE.

And if his offering [be] a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD.
En as sy offer ‚'n bok is, dan moet hy dit voor die HERE bring.
13
And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.
En hy moet sy hand op die kop daarvan lê, en dit slag voor die tabernakel van die gemeente: en die seuns van Aäron moet die bloed daarvan rondom op die altaar sprinkel.
14
And he shall offer thereof his offering, [even] an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that [is] upon the inwards,
En hy moet daarvan sy offer, selfs ‚'n vuuroffer aan die HERE, offer; die vet wat die binnegoed bedek, en al die vet wat aan die binnegoed is,

And the two kidneys, and the fat that [is] upon them, which [is] by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.
En die twee niere, en die vet wat aan hulle is, wat by die lendene is, en die vel oor die lewer, met die niere, moet hy verwyder.
16
And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: [it is] the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat [is] the LORD’S.
En die priester moet hulle op die altaar aan die brand steek: dit is die voedsel van die vuuroffer tot ‚'n soete geur: al die vet is die HERE s‚'n.
17
[It shall be] a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.
Dit moet ‚'n ewige insetting wees deur julle geslagte in al julle wonings, dat julle geen vet of enige bloed eet nie.
