Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons [shall be] for the LORD by thy estimation.
Spreek tot die kinders van Israel, en sê tot hulle, Wanneer ’n man ’n besondere gelofte aflê, die siele moet wees volgens jou skatting aan die HERE.

And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
En jou skatting moet wees van die manlike van twintig jaar oud tot sestig jaar oud, selfs jou skatting moet vyftig sikkels silwer wees, na die sikkel van die heiligdom.

And if it [be] a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.
En as dit ‚'n vroulike is, dan moet jou skatting dertig sikkels wees.

And if [it be] from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
En as dit van vyf jaar oud tot twintig jaar oud is, dan moet jou skatting van die manlike twintig sikkels wees, en vir die vroulike tien sikkels.

And if [it be] from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation [shall be] three shekels of silver.
En as dit van ‚'n maand oud tot vyf jaar oud is, dan moet jou skatting van die manlike vyf sikkels silwer wees, en vir die vroulike jou skatting moet drie sikkels silwer wees.

And if [it be] from sixty years old and above; if [it be] a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
En as dit van sestig jaar oud en daarbo is: as dit ‚'n manlike is, dan moet jou skatting vyftien sikkels wees, en vir die vroulike tien sikkels.

But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.
Maar as hy armer is as jou skatting, dan moet hy homself voor die priester stel, en die priester moet hom skat; volgens die vermoë van hom wat die gelofte gedoen het, moet die priester hom skat.

And if [it be] a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto the LORD, all that [any man] giveth of such unto the LORD shall be holy.
En as dit ‚'n dier is, waarvan mense ‚'n offer aan die HERE bring, alles wat enige man daarvan gee, moet heilig wees.
10
He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.
Hy mag dit nie verander of omruil nie, ‚'n goeie vir ‚'n slegte, of ‚'n slegte vir ‚'n goeie: en as hy ooit dier vir dier omruil, dan moet dit en die omgeruilde daarvan heilig wees.

And if [it be] any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest:
En as dit enige onrein dier is, waarvan hulle geen offer aan die HERE mag bring nie, dan moet hy die dier voor die priester stel:
12
And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, [who art] the priest, so shall it be.
En die priester moet dit skat, of dit goed of sleg is: soos jy, die priester, dit skat, so moet dit wees.
13
But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth [part] thereof unto thy estimation.
Maar as hy dit enigsins wil loskoop, dan moet hy die vyfde deel daarvan by jou skatting byvoeg.
14
And when a man shall sanctify his house [to be] holy unto the LORD, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.
En wanneer ‚'n man sy huis heilig, dat dit heilig mag wees aan die HERE, dan moet die priester dit skat, of dit goed of sleg is: soos die priester dit skat, so moet dit staan.

And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth [part] of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.
En as hy wat dit geheilig het, sy huis wil loskoop, dan moet hy die vyfde deel van die geld van jou skatting daarby byvoeg, en dit moet syne wees.
16
And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD [some part] of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed [shall be valued] at fifty shekels of silver.
En as ‚'n man ‚'n deel van die veld van sy besitting aan die HERE heilig, dan moet jou skatting wees volgens die saad daarvan: ‚'n homer garsaad moet teen vyftig sikkels silwer wees.
17
If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand.
As hy sy veld van die jubeljaar af heilig, moet dit volgens jou skatting staan.
18
But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.
Maar as hy sy veld ná die jubeljaar heilig, dan moet die priester die geld aan hom bereken volgens die jare wat oorbly, selfs tot die jaar van jubeljaar, en dit moet van jou skatting afgetrek word.
19
And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth [part] of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.
En as hy wat die veld geheilig het, dit enigsins wil loskoop, dan moet hy die vyfde deel van die geld van jou skatting daarby byvoeg, en dit moet aan hom verseker word.
20
And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.
En as hy die veld nie wil loskoop nie, of as hy die veld aan ‚'n ander man verkoop het, mag dit nie meer losgekoop word nie.
21
But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest’s.
Maar die veld, wanneer dit in die jubeljaar uitgaan, moet heilig wees aan die HERE, soos ‚'n veld wat met die ban gegee is; die besitting daarvan moet die priester s‚'n wees.
22
And if [a man] sanctify unto the LORD a field which he hath bought, which [is] not of the fields of his possession;
En as ‚'n man aan die HERE ‚'n veld heilig wat hy gekoop het, wat nie van die velde van sy besitting is nie;
23
Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, [even] unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, [as] a holy thing unto the LORD.
Dan moet die priester die som van jou skatting aan hom bereken, selfs tot die jaar van jubeljaar: en hy moet jou skatting op daardie dag gee, as ‚'n heilige ding aan die HERE.
24
In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, [even] to him to whom the possession of the land [did belong].
In die jaar van jubeljaar moet die veld terugkeer na hom van wie dit gekoop is, selfs na hom aan wie die besitting van die land behoort.
25
And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.
En al jou skattings moet wees volgens die sikkel van die heiligdom: twintig gera moet die sikkel wees.
26
Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD’S firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether [it be] ox, or sheep: it [is] the LORD’S.
Net die eersgeborene van die diere, wat as eersgeborene aan die HERE behoort, mag niemand heilig nie; of dit ‚'n os of skaap is: dit is die HERE s‚'n.
27
And if [it be] of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem [it] according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth [part] of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.
En as dit van ‚'n onrein dier is, dan moet hy dit volgens jou skatting loskoop, en moet die vyfde deel daarvan daarby byvoeg: of as dit nie losgekoop word nie, dan moet dit volgens jou skatting verkoop word.

Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, [both] of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing [is] most holy unto the LORD.
Maar geen ban-ding, wat ‚'n man aan die HERE sal ban van al wat hy het nie, of van mens of dier, of van die veld van sy besitting, mag verkoop of losgekoop word nie: elke ban-ding is allersheilig aan die HERE.
29
None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; [but] shall surely be put to death.
Niemand wat tot die ban gegee is onder die mense, mag losgekoop word nie; maar moet sekerlik gedood word.
30
And all the tithe of the land, [whether] of the seed of the land, [or] of the fruit of the tree, [is] the LORD’S: [it is] holy unto the LORD.
En al die tiende van die land, of van die saad van die land, of van die vrug van die boom, is die HERE s‚'n: dit is heilig aan die HERE.
31
And if a man will at all redeem [ought] of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth [part] thereof.
En as ‚'n man enigsins van sy tiendes wil loskoop, moet hy die vyfde deel daarvan daarby byvoeg.
32
And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, [even] of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.
En aangaande die tiende van die beeste, of van die kudde, selfs van alles wat onder die staf deurgaan, die tiende moet heilig wees aan die HERE.
33
He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.
Hy mag nie ondersoek of dit goed of sleg is nie, en hy mag dit nie omruil nie: en as hy dit enigsins omruil, dan moet beide dit en die omgeruilde daarvan heilig wees; dit mag nie losgekoop word nie.
34
These [are] the commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.
Dit is die gebooie, wat die HERE Moses beveel het vir die kinders van Israel op die berg Sinai.
