And this [is] the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest’s office: Take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish,
En dit is die ding wat jy aan hulle moet doen om hulle te heilig, om My as priester te dien: Neem een jong bul, en twee ramme sonder gebrek,

And unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened tempered with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed with oil: [of] wheaten flour shalt thou make them.
En ongesuurde brood, en ongesuurde koeke gemeng met olie, en ongesuurde waferkoeke gesalf met olie: van fyn koringmeel moet jy hulle maak.

And thou shalt put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams.
En jy moet hulle in een mandjie sit, en hulle in die mandjie bring, met die bul en die twee ramme.
4
And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water.
En Aäron en sy seuns moet jy by die deur van die tabernakel van die gemeente bring, en jy moet hulle met water was.
5
And thou shalt take the garments, and put upon Aaron the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the curious girdle of the ephod:
En jy moet die klere neem, en Aäron die rok, en die mantel van die efod, en die efod, en die borsplaat aantrek, en hom omgord met die kunstige gordel van die efod:

And thou shalt put the mitre upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the mitre.
En jy moet die tulband op sy hoof sit, en die heilige kroon op die tulband sit.
7
Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour [it] upon his head, and anoint him.
Dan moet jy die salfolie neem, en dit op sy hoof uitgiet, en hom salf.
8
And thou shalt bring his sons, and put coats upon them.
En jy moet sy seuns bring, en hulle rokke aantrek.
9
And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the priest’s office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.
En jy moet hulle omgord met gordels, Aäron en sy seuns, en tulbande op hulle sit: en die priesteramp moet hulle s’n wees tot ’n ewige insetting: en jy moet Aäron en sy seuns toewy.
10
And thou shalt cause a bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock.
En jy moet die bul bring voor die tabernakel van die gemeente: en Aäron en sy seuns moet hulle hande op die kop van die bul lê.
11
And thou shalt kill the bullock before the LORD, [by] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
En jy moet die bul slag voor die HERE, by die deur van die tabernakel van die gemeente.
12
And thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put [it] upon the horns of the altar with thy finger, and pour all the blood beside the bottom of the altar.
En jy moet van die bloed van die bul neem, en dit met jou vinger aan die horings van die altaar sit, en al die bloed aan die voet van die altaar uitgiet.
13
And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul [that is] above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that [is] upon them, and burn [them] upon the altar.
En jy moet al die vet wat die binnegoed bedek, en die vel oor die lewer, en die twee niere, en die vet wat aan hulle is, neem, en dit op die altaar aan die brand steek.
14
But the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his dung, shalt thou burn with fire without the camp: it [is] a sin offering.
Maar die vlees van die bul, en sy vel, en sy mis, moet jy buite die kamp met vuur verbrand: dit is ‚'n sondoffer.
15
Thou shalt also take one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.
Jy moet ook een ram neem; en Aäron en sy seuns moet hulle hande op die kop van die ram lê.
16
And thou shalt slay the ram, and thou shalt take his blood, and sprinkle [it] round about upon the altar.
En jy moet die ram slag, en van sy bloed neem, en dit rondom op die altaar sprinkel.
17
And thou shalt cut the ram in pieces, and wash the inwards of him, and his legs, and put [them] unto his pieces, and unto his head.
En jy moet die ram in stukke sny, en sy binnegoed en sy bene was, en dit op sy stukke, en op sy kop sit.
18
And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it [is] a burnt offering unto the LORD: it [is] a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
En jy moet die hele ram op die altaar aan die brand steek: dit is ‚'n brandoffer aan die HERE: dit is ‚'n soete geur, ‚'n vuuroffer aan die HERE.
19
And thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.
En jy moet die ander ram neem; en Aäron en sy seuns moet hulle hande op die kop van die ram lê.
20
Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put [it] upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
Dan moet jy die ram slag, en van sy bloed neem, en dit sit aan die punt van Aäron se regteroor, en aan die punt van die regteroor van sy seuns, en op die duim van hulle regterhand, en op die groottoon van hulle regtervoet, en die bloed rondom op die altaar sprinkel.
21
And thou shalt take of the blood that [is] upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle [it] upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.
En jy moet van die bloed wat op die altaar is, en van die salfolie neem, en dit sprinkel op Aäron, en op sy klere, en op sy seuns, en op die klere van sy seuns saam met hom: en hy moet geheilig word, en sy klere, en sy seuns, en die klere van sy seuns saam met hom.
22
Also thou shalt take of the ram the fat and the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul [above] the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that [is] upon them, and the right shoulder; for it [is] a ram of consecration:
Ook moet jy van die ram die vet neem, en die stuit, en die vet wat die binnegoed bedek, en die vel oor die lewer, en die twee niere, en die vet wat aan hulle is, en die regterboud; want dit is ‚'n ram van toewyding:
23
And one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer out of the basket of the unleavened bread that [is] before the LORD:
En een brood, en een koek van oliebrood, en een waferkoek uit die mandjie van die ongesuurde brood wat voor die HERE is:
24
And thou shalt put all in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his sons; and shalt wave them [for] a wave offering before the LORD.
En jy moet dit alles sit in die hande van Aäron, en in die hande van sy seuns; en jy moet dit heen en weer beweeg tot ’n beweegoffer voor die HERE.
25
And thou shalt receive them of their hands, and burn [them] upon the altar for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour before the LORD: it [is] an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
En jy moet dit uit hulle hande neem, en dit op die altaar aan die brand steek tot ‚'n brandoffer, tot ‚'n soete geur voor die HERE: dit is ‚'n vuuroffer aan die HERE.
26
And thou shalt take the breast of the ram of Aaron’s consecration, and wave it [for] a wave offering before the LORD: and it shall be thy part.
En jy moet die bors van die ram van Aäron se toewyding neem, en dit heen en weer beweeg tot ’n beweegoffer voor die HERE: en dit moet jou deel wees.
27
And thou shalt sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the shoulder of the heave offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of the consecration, [even] of [that] which [is] for Aaron, and of [that] which is for his sons:
En jy moet die bors van die beweegoffer heilig, en die boud van die hefoffer, wat beweeg is, en wat opgehef is, van die ram van die toewyding, van dit wat vir Aäron is, en van dit wat vir sy seuns is:
28
And it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’ by a statute for ever from the children of Israel: for it [is] an heave offering: and it shall be an heave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifice of their peace offerings, [even] their heave offering unto the LORD.
En dit moet vir Aäron en sy seuns wees by ’n insetting vir ewig van die kinders van Israel: want dit is ’n hefoffer: en dit moet ’n hefoffer wees van die kinders van Israel van die offers van hulle dankoffers, selfs hulle hefoffer aan die HERE.
29
And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons’ after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them.
En die heilige klere van Aäron moet sy seuns s’n wees na hom, om daarin gesalf te word, en om daarin toegewy te word.
30
[And] that son that is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days, when he cometh into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy [place].
En daardie seun wat priester in sy plek word, moet hulle sewe dae aantrek, wanneer hy in die tabernakel van die gemeente ingaan om in die heilige plek te dien.
31
And thou shalt take the ram of the consecration, and seethe his flesh in the holy place.
En jy moet die ram van die toewyding neem, en sy vlees in die heilige plek kook.
32
And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that [is] in the basket, [by] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
En Aäron en sy seuns moet die vlees van die ram eet, en die brood wat in die mandjie is, by die deur van die tabernakel van die gemeente.
33
And they shall eat those things wherewith the atonement was made, to consecrate [and] to sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat [thereof], because they [are] holy.
En hulle moet daardie dinge eet waarmee die versoening gemaak is, om hulle toe te wy en te heilig: maar ‚'n vreemdeling mag daarvan nie eet nie, omdat hulle heilig is.
34
And if ought of the flesh of the consecrations, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it [is] holy.
En as iets van die vlees van die toewydinge, of van die brood, tot die môre toe oorbly, dan moet jy die oorskot met vuur verbrand: dit mag nie geëet word nie, omdat dit heilig is.
35
And thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all [things] which I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them.
En so moet jy aan Aäron, en aan sy seuns doen, volgens alles wat ek jou beveel het: sewe dae moet jy hulle toewy.
36
And thou shalt offer every day a bullock [for] a sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.
En jy moet elke dag ‚'n bul as sondoffer offer tot versoening: en jy moet die altaar reinig, wanneer jy versoening daarvoor maak, en jy moet dit salf om dit te heilig.
37
Seven days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and it shall be an altar most holy: whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.
Sewe dae moet jy versoening maak vir die altaar, en dit heilig; en dit moet ‚'n allersheiligste altaar wees: alles wat die altaar aanraak, moet heilig wees.
38
Now this [is that] which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.
Nou is dit wat jy op die altaar moet offer; twee lammers van ‚'n jaar oud elke dag altyd.
39
The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:
Die een lam moet jy in die môre offer, en die ander lam moet jy in die aand offer:
40
And with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine [for] a drink offering.
En met die een lam ‚'n tiende deel fyn meel gemeng met die vierde deel van ‚'n hin gestote olie; en die vierde deel van ‚'n hin wyn tot ‚'n drankoffer.
41
And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
En die ander lam moet jy in die aand offer, en daarmee doen volgens die spysoffer van die môre, en volgens die drankoffer daarvan, tot ’n soete geur, ’n vuuroffer aan die HERE.
42
[This shall be] a continual burnt offering throughout your generations [at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.
Dit moet ‚'n voortdurende brandoffer wees deur julle geslagte by die deur van die tabernakel van die gemeente voor die HERE: waar ek met julle sal byeenkom, om daar met jou te spreek.
43
And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and [the tabernacle] shall be sanctified by my glory.
En daar sal ek met die kinders van Israel byeenkom, en die tabernakel sal geheilig word deur my heerlikheid.
44
And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest’s office.
En ek sal die tabernakel van die gemeente, en die altaar heilig: ek sal ook Aäron en sy seuns heilig, om My as priester te dien.
45
And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.
En ek sal woon onder die kinders van Israel, en sal hulle God wees.
46
And they shall know that I [am] the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I [am] the LORD their God.
En hulle sal weet dat ek die HERE hulle God is, wat hulle uitgelei het uit die land Egipte, dat ek onder hulle mag woon: ek is die HERE hulle God.
