Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.
Spreek tot die kinders van Israel, dat hulle vir My ‚'n hefoffer bring: van elke man wie se hart hom gewillig maak, moet julle die hefoffer vir My neem.

And this [is] the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,
En dit is die hefoffer wat julle van hulle moet neem; goud, en silwer, en koper,
4
And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ [hair],
En blou, en pers, en skarlaken, en fyn linne, en bokhaar,
5
And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,
En rooi geverfde ramvelle, en dassievelle, en sittimhout,
6
Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
Olie vir die lig, speserye vir die salfolie, en vir die soet reukwerk,
7
Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.
Onyxstene, en stene om te sit in die efod, en in die borsplaat.

And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
En laat hulle vir My ‚'n heiligdom maak; dat ek in hulle midde mag woon.

According to all that I shew thee, [after] the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make [it].
Volgens alles wat ek jou toon, na die voorbeeld van die tabernakel, en die voorbeeld van al die gereedskap daarvan, net so moet julle dit maak.
10
And they shall make an ark [of] shittim wood: two cubits and a half [shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
En hulle moet ‚'n ark van sittimhout maak: twee en ‚'n half el moet die lengte daarvan wees, en ‚'n el en ‚'n half die breedte daarvan, en ‚'n el en ‚'n half die hoogte daarvan.

And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.
En jy moet dit met suiwer goud oordek, van binne en van buite moet jy dit oordek, en jy moet ‚'n kroon van goud daar rondom maak.
12
And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put [them] in the four corners thereof; and two rings [shall be] in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.
En jy moet vier goue ringe daarvoor giet, en dit aan die vier hoeke daarvan sit; en twee ringe moet aan die een sy daarvan wees, en twee ringe aan die ander sy daarvan.

And thou shalt make staves [of] shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
En jy moet draagstokke van sittimhout maak, en hulle met goud oordek.
14
And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.
En jy moet die draagstokke in die ringe aan die sye van die ark steek, dat die ark daarmee gedra mag word.
15
The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.
Die draagstokke moet in die ringe van die ark bly: hulle mag nie daarvan afgehaal word nie.
16
And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.
En jy moet in die ark die getuienis sit wat ek jou sal gee.
17
And thou shalt make a mercy seat [of] pure gold: two cubits and a half [shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
En jy moet ‚'n versoendeksel van suiwer goud maak: twee en ‚'n half el moet die lengte daarvan wees, en ‚'n el en ‚'n half die breedte daarvan.
18
And thou shalt make two cherubims [of] gold, [of] beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
En jy moet twee gerubs van goud maak, van gedrewe werk moet jy hulle maak, aan die twee ente van die versoendeksel.
19
And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: [even] of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
En maak een gerub aan die een ent, en die ander gerub aan die ander ent: uit die versoendeksel self moet julle die gerubs maak aan die twee ente daarvan.
20
And the cherubims shall stretch forth [their] wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces [shall look] one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
En die gerubs moet hulle vlerke uitbrei na bo, die versoendeksel met hulle vlerke bedekkend, en hulle aangesigte moet na mekaar toe wees; na die versoendeksel moet die aangesigte van die gerubs wees.

And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.
En jy moet die versoendeksel bo-op die ark sit; en in die ark moet jy die getuienis sit wat ek jou sal gee.
22
And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which [are] upon the ark of the testimony, of all [things] which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
En daar sal ek met jou byeenkom, en ek sal met jou spreek van bo die versoendeksel af, tussen die twee gerubs wat op die ark van die getuienis is, van alles wat ek jou sal beveel aangaande die kinders van Israel.

Thou shalt also make a table [of] shittim wood: two cubits [shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
Jy moet ook ‚'n tafel van sittimhout maak: twee el moet die lengte daarvan wees, en ‚'n el die breedte daarvan, en ‚'n el en ‚'n half die hoogte daarvan.
24
And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.
En jy moet dit met suiwer goud oordek, en ‚'n kroon van goud daar rondom maak.
25
And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.
En jy moet ‚'n lys daar rondom maak van ‚'n handbreedte, en jy moet ‚'n goue kroon aan die lys daarvan rondom maak.

And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that [are] on the four feet thereof.
En jy moet vier goue ringe daarvoor maak, en die ringe sit aan die vier hoeke wat by die vier pote daarvan is.
27
Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table.
Teenoor die lys moet die ringe wees vir plekke vir die draagstokke om die tafel te dra.
28
And thou shalt make the staves [of] shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.
En jy moet die draagstokke van sittimhout maak, en hulle met goud oordek, dat die tafel daarmee gedra mag word.
29
And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: [of] pure gold shalt thou make them.
En jy moet die skottels daarvan, en die lepels daarvan, en die deksels daarvan, en die komme daarvan maak, om daarmee te bedek: van suiwer goud moet jy hulle maak.
30
And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.
En jy moet die toonbrood op die tafel sit voor my aangesig altyd.
31
And thou shalt make a candlestick [of] pure gold: [of] beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.
En jy moet ‚'n kandelaar van suiwer goud maak: van gedrewe werk moet die kandelaar gemaak word: sy skag, en sy takke, sy bakkies, sy knoppe, en sy blomme, moet uit homself wees.
32
And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:
En ses takke moet uit die sye daarvan uitgaan; drie takke van die kandelaar uit die een sy, en drie takke van die kandelaar uit die ander sy:
33
Three bowls made like unto almonds, [with] a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, [with] a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.
Drie bakkies soos amandels, met ‚'n knop en ‚'n blom in een tak; en drie bakkies soos amandels in die ander tak, met ‚'n knop en ‚'n blom: so in die ses takke wat uit die kandelaar uitgaan.

And in the candlestick [shall be] four bowls made like unto almonds, [with] their knops and their flowers.
En in die kandelaar moet vier bakkies wees soos amandels, met hulle knoppe en hulle blomme.
35
And [there shall be] a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.
En daar moet ‚'n knop wees onder die twee takke daarvan, en ‚'n knop onder die twee takke daarvan, en ‚'n knop onder die twee takke daarvan, volgens die ses takke wat uit die kandelaar uitgaan.
36
Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it [shall be] one beaten work [of] pure gold.
Hulle knoppe en hulle takke moet uit homself wees: dit alles moet een gedrewe werk van suiwer goud wees.
37
And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.
En jy moet die sewe lampe daarvan maak: en hulle moet die lampe daarvan aansteek, dat hulle lig mag gee teenoor die aangesig daarvan.
38
And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, [shall be of] pure gold.
En die snuiters daarvan, en die bakkies daarvan, moet van suiwer goud wees.
39
[Of] a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.
Van ‚'n talent suiwer goud moet hy dit maak, met al hierdie gereedskap.
40
And look that thou make [them] after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.
En sien toe dat jy dit maak na hulle voorbeeld, wat jou op die berg getoon is.
